Test Management product area

We are seeking a person for our team of consultants in the Test Management product area who is enthusiastic about tests and who is motivated by an independent job. In the position of Test Manager and/or Test Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering professional service that makes a tangible difference for our customers! The team helps our customers in all phases of Test Management. Our Test Management methodology is based on a structured approach to the test and a view that tests must be performed in the early stages of a project to achieve the best possible overall economy. This means, for example, that we encourage our customers to include tests of requirements in the project. Below you can read in-depth about the challenges and requirements of these two roles.

Test Manager

In the role of Test Manager, you are responsible for devising test strategies and test plans. You are result-oriented and have the full responsibility for the execution of the test as planned. It is expected that you report on progress to a Project Manager or steering committee with objective ongoing validation of the project’s progress. Personally, you make a strong impact and are a role model for your team by exhibiting commitment, as well as by inspiring and coaching those around you. You are good at communicating with customers in a way that makes them feel secure in your hands. You accomplish this by maintaining visibility in the project and through objective and measurable reporting. You have a well-documented background as a Test Manager/Coordinator, perhaps supplemented with certifications in the field of tests. You have many years of experience with tests and management and you are familiar with the tools within both Project Management and Test Management. In summary, we expect that you have the following qualifications:

• Minimum six years’ professional experience with tests and management
• Experience as a Test Manager or Project Manager
• Preferably ISEB or ISTQB certified
• Familiarity with development methodology theory
• Knowledge/experience of UML and RUP
• Familiarity with Quality Center (Test Director) or other test tools
